How To Check Your DUT Application Status
With the excitement of possibly getting accepted into DUT, it’s crucial that you remember to track your DUT application status. Many students have horror stories of missing opportunities because they didn’t respond with necessary documents on time or accept enrollment offers. You can avoid this same fate by following our step-by-step guide below that details how to track your DUT application online.
Step 1: Visit The DUT Website
Go to dut.ac.za.
Step 2: Navigate To The CAO Portal
On the home page, select “Information” then “Check your Status”. You will then be redirected to the CAO Portal.
Note: The CAO portal is The Central Application Office, which means you can track your application status for a number of Universities.
Step 3: Enter Your Details and Click Submit
Once you’re on the CAO portal, follow the prompts and enter your details to review your DUT application status online.

Then on the right-hand side of the page, you will see a list under “Menu,” The third option on this list is Career Leaflets. After selecting “Career Leaflets,” you’ll be redirected to a page where you can review all the school’s available programmes. Choose some based on your interests to see which will be the best option for you.
